    Alan Irvine Becomes Baggies Boss





    Irvine takes West Brom job.


    Everton Academy manager Alan Irvine has beend as West Brom head coach, and will leave Everton on Monday.

    Irvine spent time at Everton as a player in the 1980s before joining as first team coach under David Moyes after being tipped to become England Under 21 manager following his success as academy manager at Newcastle United.

    The Scot took the manager's job at Preston in 2007 and was then appointed Sheffield Wednesday boss in 2010, but returned to Everton as academy manager in 2011.
