Weren't we in the top division when we signed them (mackay aside who we paid a fortune and had brian clough), and i dont remember anyone saying we had no chance of signing mcgrath or taribo, they were entirely likely signings at the time. Do you honestly think we will be able to afford minimum 40k a week and be able to convince rio to drop down a league when he will have much better offers.
