I cant believe we didnt get him
Has agreed to join Harry at QPR. I thought they said they wasn't going down that road again of has beens on mega money! Yeah right that lasted long Arry lad. Lol
I cant believe we didnt get him
Another washed up footballer on stupid money United know he's finished that's why he's left an absolutely shocking signing. QPR must have an average age of 100 in there defence.
money grabbing
To be fair, he's still a decent defender at Prem level, but does show yet again that Harry will splash the cash despite some of the claims from QPR fans that he's had nothing to work with (just a multi-million pound squad).
This really ****ing annoys me
This isn't about Harry, this is about their bloody stupid owners. They are apparently set to fight the Football League over the likelihood of significant fines being imposed for them failing to comply with FFP rules. Fernandez said they were unfair because relegated clubs didn't have enough time to get their finances in order, so QPR should have been given at least another season to reduce the wages before being fined under FFP.
Unbelievable. Any club that is not an established bigger Prem club has to accept that a relegation battle is possible at any time and must plan accordingly so they can deal with the situation of the reduced revenue if it were to arise. QPR didn't do that, they took huge ****ing gambles by acquiring a wage bill greater than one of the Champions League finalists and it failed.
So they have to live with the consequences. The key rule to gambling, to taking a risk, to speculating (whatever you want to call it) is to underst
This makes a mockery of the FFP rules. They should be made to pay a maximum fine before they are allowed to start the season, or better still sent back down to the Championship. However they will appeal any fine for as long as the system will allow them to benefit from loopholes in the system.
Teams like Derby play within the rules & get "SCREWED"!
If they manage to avoid paying there dues then the answer should be that if at any time in the future they are relegated to the football league then they are handed a 25pt penalty with immediate effect .
The problem with any possible FFP fine to QPR is that the Football League/FA will need to ask the Premiership to get the money from QPR. There is no obligation for the Premiership to comply with the request, so potentially QPR could get away with it...for now.
The Premiership FFP rules are stacked in favour of the big clubs. One of the rules is about how much a clubs wage bill compared to income can increase from the previous year. So a club like Hull that will need to seriously strengthen their sqaud in terms of numbers will obviously increase their wage bill, or someone like Burnley. Whereas one of the big boys can add a couple of players and only see their wage to turnover increase by a small percentage.
As regards QPR. Good luck to them with Rio, far too injury prone nowadays. I see Stoke have put Crouch up for sale...another reuniting with 'Arry again?
