Biting/spitting no difference in my opinion.

Yeah Keane's tackle or Ben Thatcher's "assault" just as bad in my opinion

    re: Suarez

I bet you every single player that has had his career ended by a two footed lunge or ****ty coward tackle would instantly take being bitten on the shoulder instead. Media and sheep going way over the top with Suarez. Hes a dick but a very talented and interesting one that everyone wants to see play love him or hate him.

Think the punishment is far too harsh, but his previous 10 game ban has sort of set a precedent I suppose.

Dont think FIFA had a choice but don't agree with the decision.

You make a good point about how little damage the bite is likely to do compared to a nasty tackle, Lee, and people are going OTT when you look at it like that.

But we're not just talking about some cheeky chappy, controversial, bad boy type; his behaviour is nothing short of psychopathic. It's the randomness and needlessness of what he's done that's the problem. Whether we're talking about a bite or a punch, he's shown the capacity to do harm to people, seemingly unprovoked. He should be allowed nowhere near a professional football stage.
