If you want to hear somebody referring to people as foreigners look to the pie eater and how he refers to the English. Xenophobia, and hatred at it's worst.

According to your dear leader, the morbidly obese one, you're going to have an open door policy on immigration (English partner = bad: Anybody from the far flung reaches = better than good). Because according to him the current population has neither the brains or the skills to make a success of things without it. You really think England would maintain the border status quo, allowing every Tom, D!ck, Harry and ne'erdowell you attract to infest us down here. No thank you!!

If the majority vote to be SEPARATE (which they wont), that's what you'll get, SEPARATION, with the requisite controls on the border. How the EEC would view you (as non members)

Can you point out where a policy of 'open door' immigration has been proposed by the indy side? Your description of immigrants in terms of an 'infest' is quite frankly unhinged but not unexpected
You know that fatty salmond has stated that immigration is key to a successful independent Scotland. In other words he lacks confidence to go it alone.

Why should the people of rUK 'leave the door open' to immigrants who have not been properly vetted by a separate rUK Immigration Service. These valuable people let into Scotland will have to apply for 'entry' before being allowed through the newly created/erected border control. Although, having said that, those lucky immigrants attracted might not wish to leave this Scottish utopia that the nats promise.

All that p1sh was just him greetin about a passport and a mythical border between Scotland and England post-Yes vote. Theres nae border between Northern and Southern counties of Ireland, no passport checks when ye leave Dublin and enter London, Tom knows that 10 year old can work out what independence would bring, maybe when he educates himself tae such a high level for him, he will understand himself.

Regarding use of the word 'infest', it is from the Latin 'infestare', to 'assail'. Borders, walls, moats and boundaries are created to prevent assailing onto territory. Absolutely nothing 'unhinged' about using such a term in debate about uncontrolled immigration. But, you knew that anyway, didn't you?? So please don't try and play the 'you're just racist and an

I agree wholeheartedly with your second point that immigration, if properly controlled is an asset to performing economies. Whether iScotland, with major companies threatening to withdraw, would constitute a still performing economy is another matter.

An iScotland proposes a points system based on skills required which is a completely sensible approach which is by no stretch of the imagination can be described as an 'open door' policy.
It's down to whether you trust second rate Scottish politicians to deliver such a policy successfully. From what I've seen of the debate on TV, and read in various publications, MSPs come across as a pretty clueless bunch.

scary you are just going to have to deal with it Irish people are not foreign by decree of the law in the UK.

    Ireland Act 1949
2 Republic of Ireland not a foreign country.
(1)It is hereby declared that, notwithstanding that the Republic of Ireland is not part of His Majestyaiis dominions, the Republic of Ireland is not a foreign country for the purposes of any law in force in any part of the United Kingdom

There is no reason why it should be any different with Scotland unless Westminster decides to put up the barriers - view external link
