Root and Anderson providing stiff resistance as India strive to get the final wicket. 332 for 9, Root on 66 and Jimmy A on 16.

Do you reckon this could go to penalties?

Yes, great thanks, LDB. Had the chance of a ticket for tomorrow, but helping at the grandsons' six a side has to trump that offer.

Just nipped in home before picking the Adder up in good time for the WLP friendly.. England still there at lunch after the extra half hour play was taken, 485 for 9 Root 143 and Anderson on 81. Never expected that score for sure

I believe that's the highest ever Test 10th wicket stand.

As much as i enjoyed Root & Anderson's stand I've got to say that the pitch is bloody awful from an overall excitement of the game point of view.
There is simply very little in it for the bowlers, in fact virtually bugger all & thats pretty poor from either whoever prepared it or whoever asked for it to be prepared like that.
