Van Gaal tells 10 they can leave.

On his first day in the job, he's told 10 players they can leave Manchester United, one of those being Nick Powell. Now he was on loan at Wigan last year and did okay, another season in the Championship should suit him, and can play behind the striker or in the sort of role Bamford was used last year. Would anyone like to see him here in either a loan or permanent if we could get him?

Just to clarify I haven't heard a thing linking him to us, just discussing a possible.

Players (allegdley) under threat are: Nani, Marouane Fellaini, Ashley Young, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez, Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Wilfried Zaha, Bebe and Nick Powell...

Can't really see any of them nailing down a first-team slot at Man Utd, so not that much of a surprise...
