Little bit different, the England players didn't need any fitness training as they had just finished the season. So they were already up to speed and match fit. Whereas pre-season the players have not played competitive football for a couple of months and need to get back into the swing of things.

You could look at it a different way. Considering we went down twice to Stanley, even though it was only a friendly, the players showed commitment in getting two equalizers. I guess this means if we destroy Bradford on Saturday that we're going to finish top of the league?[/quote]

i`m just of the opinion that good pre season form can be carried into the seaso

I don't disagree, obviously winning games breeds confidence and self belief and it's never good to lose games. But the main thing of pre-season is blowing away the cobwebs, getting the players ready for a long hard season and integrating the new arrivals to the Rovers ethos.

As long as we ain't getting smashed out of the park in every friendly then I would not worry.

Looks like he was told to improve his fitness before resigning
He was one of the sharpest people on the pitch he could be a very key player this season if used correctly.
Can he do 90 minutes hell no I think he would struggle to do 75 however as an impact sub or a change to 4-4-2 he will fit the bill nicely.

That cup of yours is definitely half empty, you're about as much fun as a dose of the clap. Cheer up, the sun is shining, the economy is doing well, Rovers are unbeaten in pre-season and England are still on top of the Commonwealth Games Medal Table.
