    Hope all that travelled come home safe and well tip my hat to everyone who went to watch that...Rather not be in this anymore and just have a full pre season.Lack of fresh faces in defence and up front cost us...

    I'm trying not to either teach my grannie to suck eggs or to state the obvious, but did we not lose all four of our leads when we tried to defend? I haven't seen the other scores - and well done to those guys - but I'm guessing that we scored more goals than either the Perth Saints or the Dons?
    There does seem to be a message there.

    We did score more but compared to their opposition we were playing a pub team.

    Had we won we'd obviously have been relieved but it wouldn't have disguised a poor effort over two legs.

    We were unlucky with the non-penalty/penalty at the end of the home leg but even then, we should still have had the quality to see off this lot.
