Thread: Has sponsorship gone too far?

    Has sponsorship gone too far?

As unite the union now sponsor the ticket office and someone or other sponsors the match ball, corners, throwing etc... I am thinking of putting in a bid to sponsor "trap 2" in the north stand bogs. I would possibly call it the Nottingham suite?
do you think Sam would be up for it.? I think the shelf in the concourse is also available if anyone is interested

I don't see the problem If these company's think advertising at Ipro will be beneficial to their business, we should be only too happy to take the money.

I guess one of the side effects of FFP is that clubs have to increase revenue and if they arent going to push up ticket prices beyond the average fans reach then sponsorship is a necessary evil.

In a daft way fans sponsoring the bogs could be funny.

£10 paid at the start of the season and every week 50 (or however many bogs we have) get selected at random to place pearls of wisdom/gripes/anecdotes onto the toilet wall (|this could be particularly popular if you got to 'advertise' to away fans!... after all. ' the words of the prophet are written on the cistern wall'!

Or... you could buy a marker pen and cut out the middle man.
