Thread: New Season

    New Season

At the end of last season I was confident we would mount a real challenge for the title. Haven't seen the team yet but going by the reports on here I'm not so confident. To win a title every game is a cup final, every point important so a good start is *****. Get the confidence up and a run going. Bit concerned that the "big" signings have ended. Smacks of an understandable rethink by the board after relegation last year. But hopefully the younger signings are hungry and winners.

    Good luck lads.

    re: New Season

I've seen most of the games so far. There's plenty of quality in the side although we still lack height in central defence and real specialist full backs.

The new management team are clearly working on defending as a team and that was evident in the solid performance at Hamilton.

With the likes of Linn and Murray up front, we will get goals. It's going tough with Clyde, East Fife etc also looking strong. We should be well in the mix!
