Wolves Activity In The Transfer window So Far.

Are you happy with the Wolves squad that we start the new season with? The two players Tommy Rowe and van La Parra added to the squad, and maybe Max Clayton added to the ranks in the near future.

I'm all for seeing how Wolves begin the season and see how the players from last season perform.

I'm certainly not unhappy with the situation. No point in bringing players in if they are no better than those we already have. With the new rules, I wonder how much impact the wages of the so-called 'bomb squad' are holding us back - quite a bit, I would imagine!

Would have loved to have seen one of either Bamford or Woods brought in before we kick off tomorrow but we start with what we have got and I'm far from unhappy with that.

There's no doubt that the bomb squad are having an impact on Wolves. I think Wolves are looking at bringing other players in, but it has to be right for the club and not just signings just for the sake of it. The club may end up loaning players from the premier league, but only ones that improve the squad and offer something different to those already at the club.

I'm fine with it. We have brought in more players this summer than we did last summer. I expect us to follow a similar model to last season. Bring in a couple loans early on. Get some of the dead weight loaned out and bring in a couple more.

One of the positives is that we will probably have much more continuity early on than other clubs. Might give us a big early boost, especially over the recently relegated Prem clubs that have had to change their squads a decent amount.

And looking at some of the money being thrown around in this league this summer, it's probably best to take a patient approach.

I think we could use some competition at CB, and another forward or two to provide some depth and options. Could probably use another CM to challenge Price and Evans as well. Wing is all set and I like our FB as well (haven't had a season I've followed Wolves where I've been able to say that!).
