Looked a week behind Paderborn's training schedule, and also looked absolut scheisse...I may add.

Couldn't watch the game; the stream was woeful, as was our performances during the pre-season friendlies. Not one win under our belts... unbelievable

As I said fitness levels were the decider...Paderborn were woeful against Wigan the week before. The extra week obviously makes the difference.

You guys started ok, and Long's goal was a sweet strike...thought you would go on to get more, but they just faded. Certainly didn't like players running at them...Alcaraz was hanging, and Howard had to make a few timely interceptions. Barkley looked good, as did Barry and Pienaar who ran the midfield for you lot...but dropped off as it reached half time.

6 changes for Paderborn after about 60 mins did the trick...just couldn't cope with the pace. 3-1 was about right, although a couple more for Paderborn wouldn't have been OTT.

Visiting fans enjoyed the bier, terrace, sunshine and a visit to some Paderborn pubs (especially the Irish Bar) after the game.

Good luck for the coming season...apart from playing The Clarets.
