There's a rumour that the man in charge of Police Scotland is not a lover of football hence all these ridiculous decisions .
You're spot on when you say it's time someone stood up to this as like you say it could get even worse
I accept that this medium is meant to create debate, - but to even suggest that the QOS Board should even contemplate restricting people from coming to Palmerston is surely beyond even the most stupid of people?
Police Scotland are acting like Nazi Blackshirts, telling people what they can and cannot do without public consultation, and I fear this is the thin edge of the wedge. In a democracy such as ours, we should not be subjected to such restricted practices unless there is a national emergency.
There should be strong enough people in the SFA to stand up to such bullying tactics, and ask for a proper debate in the Scottish parliament.

Probably the same baffoon who informed us that if we were to fly flags at the Ramsden Cup final then they had to be a certain size and carry a fire retardant certificate - bloody pathetic !Originally Posted by arrol1919

Probably the same one that also tried to limit the amount of alcohol at the Wickerman too.
A total shambles between Police Scotland and for Rangers selling season tickets in such an area.
DO Rangers not have a security Officer on staff who would/should liaise with the police?
If ever a decision sums up the total ineptitude of the footballing powers and the Police then this it.
It simply beggars belief - it Is hard enough to find matches that capture the public's imagination and when one emerges the Police or whoever decide that they can only cater for 1000 visiting supporters in a half empty stadium?
Are the Glasgow Police honestly saying that between a professionally trained force and a Security company they are uneasy about coping with a small band of provincial visiting fans. God help them if Milwall ever come calling!!!!!!
PATHETIC
Couldn't agree more absolutely ridiculous decision - excuse my language but it really is F G PATHETIC
