Steve McC hinted that he will use the squad and rest players on Tuesday night. So I suspect he will play Mascerall, Best, and start with Dawkins and possibly Zak Whitbread will play instead of Buxton.Originally Posted by SlimyLimey
It will be interesting to see if we play a similar team to the one that thrashed Fulham.
Having already lost to Charlton it would be a good test, especially if Hughes starts in his true position. We all know that he can create chances when he is further forward & Eustace is steady enough at the moment in a defensive roll. Who would you bench so that Hughes plays?

Is it possible to fit both Eustace and Mascerall into the side? We want to progress and it would be good to get both some proper game time!
I agree. We need to give game time to as many players as poss, this was highlighted to me last season when Whitbread (who I rate) came in and was not up to speed.
Steve alluded to making changes in saturday's post-match interview. With that in mind, I expect to see something like:
Grant/Roos?- I expect he'll go with Grant, but it'd be nice to see Roos given a chance. He had a great pre-season.
Christie
Keogh
Whitbread- He'll surely come in as he did vs. Carlisle.
Forsyth (although Naylor may come in)
Mascarell- He needs game time (3 games in 7 days, too much for Eustace)
Bryson OR Hendrick- One of the two will play
Hughes- Surely gets his chance from the start?
Dawkins/Russell/Ward- Any combination of, unless a surprise like Calero/Bunjaku comes in?
Best- I think he'll play him up top from the start, giving Martin a well-deserved rest.
I agree. Can't see too much wrong there. We need to keep all the squad sharp/ up to speed. Would be good to see what some of these young players can offer.
