re: Does Noble deserve an England shot?

I like Noble, think he's a great player for us and shopuld be our next captain all being well. Alongside that you'd have to say there are many players who've been capped at senior level that aren't fit to lace his boots.

But, if we're picking Noble in the centre for England, I think we've got problems. I don't think he's ever going to be a starter, so I have no problem with him not getting picked and resting up come international break.

YES. He may not be able to nail down a regular place for England but definitely deserves a chance to see how he can do. Delph for ffs

Must say, would have him over at least half of the midfieldd today. Still can't believe Jordan fecking Henderson is now an England regular. Didn't see much Prem football last season really, but he was sh1te before that. Guess a decent manager and belief does wonders, but before last year wouldn't have swapped him for Noble.

Remember when Bonds and Julian never got the calls they deserved!

Certainly deserves a call to the squad anyway...whether he's good enough to play is another question.?

(I had to put Julian as the board won't let me write D,ICKS FFS)
A great shame that Bonzo never got the call. Don't think he ever actually played Jon. He was called up (by Greenwood) to a squad once but if memory serves he pulled out injured.

JD on the other hand is a different story. His reckless disregard for the rules cost us on numerous occasions, and once earned him a public rebuke from Bonzo when he was our manager.

Wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes at international level before seeing red. Shame because if he'd had anything between his ears he would have been a class player.

    Don't think U21 counts really.

Nobel was Captain of the U21's if you remember!

Still can't get the main team call though.

Red, wasnt suggesting U21 counts, just reeling off his history-

Yes Parkes was unlucky , was a bit unhappy when he withdrew his, but i guess it isnt nice being second choice all the time.
