    Hi Guys,
    Just a note from the county above. I have been reading some comments about Mick McCarthy and I must say that I personally rate him. He, like any manager of your club, has his hands firmly tied by the money restrictions. The business side of professional football is being swept along by who has the most money to spend. I think the Prem has reached the point of absolute stupidity. In this division every club starts with a fair chance of being promoted,. In the prem you are effectively playing for survival in a group of six or seven teams, with three of those being relegated. Every season it gets more difficult with the top few clubs snatching a huge share of the money. This close season Norwich have sold three players for nine**** million. With a further reduction in of other players they have have now brought in nine, the last two being a wiz kid from Falkirk and a Belgian international midfielder. REMEMBER City are debt free. It`s right for McCarthy to moan about lack of trans

    Apologies for not replying earlier but there are only four of us on this board and mainly come together for the prediction league.

    Yes, we will get back there one day, but we seem to be making a meal of it at the moment.
    It is cyclical or swings and roundabouts if you will - it's just that Norwich are quicker than us at making a comeback. :/

    Looking good for Norwich at the moment! But who knows what the situation will be next spring.
