A frenchman has been kidnapped in Algeria, with the kidnappers threatening to kill him if France continues airstrikes in Iraq. Looks like many parts of the globe are getting too dangerous for westerners to travel to.

We wonder how parts of the world hate the west, here's what the out going Afghan president says.

President Hamid Karzai has used his last speech in office to warn the new Afghan government to beware of the US.

In a national address before leaving the presidential palace, Mr Karzai said the peace process had failed because "America did not want peace".

Looks like the Yanks have failed to win his heart and mind and with the west withdrawing froom Afghanistan it won't be long until the Taliban regroup and join IS.
