You know as well as I do there's no need to ask.

The old git had retired and sold the business when he seized the reigns of power here, and had a total wealth of about £50 mill.

    It's a helluva lot more now . . .

I've been saying it all along - and I'd happily do a Mussolini with him in front of the town hall![/quote]defcon your another who doesn't post m

well whatmore i have to agree with you but i would'nt put it so blunt really.

jj is right he ain't robbed it he is a very good business man.

secondly he's Hicks and gillett I know first hand on this hicks and gillett ended up empty handed in the final lfc deal that the banks closed in on their debt and accepted henries money which was a big drop from 4500 million asking price to henry getting it for 200million

the main factor is its not a real debt !
its a boomerang debt to from and accept by the same person eddie davis.
on paper it looks like a debt cos its a loan from eddie to eddies investment bank and then lending is eddies club
its like a directors loan to yourself when your the shares owner and the head director

but what I find shifty is why is gartside still there when eddie could afford any chairman with lots of cred

what has gartside got on him to dig himself into the dna of this club.
what scandal has he got on eddie thats life changing and also dirty enough for a blind
