    Blackburn Match Thread

Thoroughly deserved the lead. masterclass from hughes and great finish for the goal. good stuff from ward too.

Keogh doing his usual thing of almost gifting them a goal. apart from that done ok.

Looking really good passing like last season. Hughes controlling the game. Hope we keep it up in 2nd half

I was looking for a live stream that would work and it loaded just as we were getting ourselves back in position after equalising, so missed the first two goals. But from what I've seen of the game so far, we've been all over them and comfortable and our lead is well deserved. Hughes is playing well. I really don't know what McClaren sees in Dawkins, I'll reserve judgement in case he steps up his game in the second half but in my opinion he's without a shadow of a doubt the worst player in our squad.

Great stream but odd with no commentary or replays! I missed goal making a brew! Sometimes I miss sky...was it a cracker?

dawks has been woeful all season but he showed enough last season to suggest he's got much more ability than he's showing. I think he's very low on confidence.

hopefully we see ibe on in the 2nd half at some point.

He played well when on loan then since his permanent move has done absolutely nothing. He's 26 years old and has pretty much doubled his career games with us since last year. He was at Spurs since 2005 and was barely loaned out, why?? He's played 102 games in 9 years. Contrast that to Will Hughes who is 19, so was still in primary school when Dawkins turned pro and he's only played 18 games less.

    3-1 Rams

What a goal by Jamie Ward! Looking like a real player this season.

A debatable foul, in him winning the ball back, although I didn't think it was a foul (shoulder on shoulder) you do see a lot given nowadays. A nice step-over and a lovely curling finish into the bottom corner from just inside the box!

Saying that, had Blackburn dispossessed us and scored like we did I probably would have been annoyed but not complaining!
