    tony - dead or alive?

just watched the sopranos again from start to finish.

the last episode's ending is a bit of a thinker.

    any thoughts?

I know that he's dead, but would it be the same bringing somebody else to play him in a new series if he wasn't killed off at the end of the last series..

    No it wouldn't Alf.

I always had an inkling that they'd do another series but when Gandolfini passed away that was all scuppered. A shame really as it was the best thing on the telly.

Hello Pents.. You are quite right about it being the best thing on the telly, must admit I do like boardwalk Empire though .. Another great actor in Steve Buscemi..

still think you're missing my point.

have a watch of last scene (link).

it cuts away abruptly. scene's supposed to be ambiguous. definite suggestion that he's about to be whacked, the way it's filmed.

whole industry on net trying to explain what it means.

some ppl think the cutting away abruptly suggests he's just been clipped.

whatever, it's probs the oddest ending to a tv series in history. - view external link

Yes it was strange and It certainly leaves it open to a further series, but now he's dead I would be surprised if there would be another one made ..

Good idea Marko ,then his lad could perhaps take over from where he left off. ..
