    The drought continues...

and when will it end in the league ? No good having a run in the Pee Pot Trophy while so many points slip away. Had a nice afternoon with Scully over at WLP. The Hawks have gone top of the league thanks to a 2.1 win. Tuesday night is not for me. They aren't opening the North Stand (I understand why) and I call it the Junk Cup anyway. See you all next Saturday then.

Yes against 2 of the very worst sides we have been unable to score which tells you everything. Our players don't take a punt on the ball getting to them in the box for a tap in. Its not something any of them possess and this is a huge problem. We are a midtable side at best right now. Which is okay for mediocrity and stability. But that won't wash indefinitely.

i can't for the life of me understand how on earth westcarr completely missed heading in that cross latish on,missed the ball altogether, astonishing,i know you dont do it on purpose, but that had to go in ffs, never looked like losing, but missed some good chances, then they missed a sitter in last minute,if they had scored, well that would have been daylight robbery, keep the faith all these missed chances will come back and some team one day will get a right bashing, don't know when but they will, play up pompey

JJ Hooper as Scully said, buried the first and certainly looked the part for me after a quiet start. Boreham Wood looked the as I expected very good for a team who had kicked off top of the league. Their no 7, Matthew Whichelow gave the Hawks a lot of problems. Wonder if a league club would take a punt on either of these two ?

Without the suspended Brian Stock (makes their midfield tick for me) JJ scored again in a 2.2 draw at Wealdstone last night. With Boreham Wood winning at home the Hawks were knocked off the top spot where they had been so briefly.
