Well I make the OP of that thread an absolute t1t Alto.
Of course the board could have stretched the transfer fees a little bit beyond the £7/8 million that we've paid out, but not by much.
Forget the £8 million for Deeney, £7 million for McArthur or 4/5/6 million for Lansbury, they weren't going to happen and I'm glad they didn't.
Some of our fans need to get a serious grip on who they support, I mean unless they've just started supporting Burnley in the last 6/12 months then they won't know how we work and have done for quite a long time.
We should have won that game in the first 25 minutes, but we didn't and no amount of fake money from the board in the summer would have changed it.
Where do we stop with the amount of money we should have spent? Ings isn't good enough, Trippier isn't good enough, Heaton isn't good enough, Shackell isn't good enough, Jones isn't good enough, Arfield isn't good enough, Mee isn't good enough?
