    Ched Evans

The convicted rapist is unlikely to be welcome back to Sheffield United anytime soon, and po**ey are short on goals.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ched Evans is thrown a lifeline by the charity thieves.

The morality of the pair certainly go hand in hand

Ignoring your rather pathetic wind up attempt (SD did better with the Dutch manager), there are some ridiculous things coming out of this case.

He's currently still appealing his conviction, the appeal which is being bankrolled by the millionaire father of his girlfriend. That's the same girlfriend he was with when he got the call from a mate to go to a hotel room and have *** with some unconscious bird he'd picked up in a bar.

As a professional footballer of a decent standard, how come he doesn't have enough money to support his own appeal? And why on earth would his girlfriend stay with him (let alone the actions of her father).

    Utterly bizarre.

Although it does highlight the dangers of falling asleep when drunk - Jack, take note!!

It wasn't intended as a wind up.

Well if you're being serious, he wouldn't be the first striker to leave prison and play for Pompey.

Although you lot have more recent history of strikers getting into trouble with the Police.

Still this is a new version of a pissing contest that should keep Pents briefly entertained before calling us both BELLENDS!!

Surely his contract lapsed? That's how it should stay imo.

Did you have a pitchfork or your knob in hand when the news broke of a certain incident in Scandinavia back in the 80's?

Difficult situation imo, whilst i obviously don't condone what he's done, he has served his sentence and should be allowed to work again, whatever that may be.
It's not the first time a professional footballer has resumed his career after a stretch, Lee Hughes and Luke McCormack did after causing death by dangerous driving.

Nick Clegg has continued to make a complete arse of himself by wading in with his opinion, strange how he wasn't so vocal when historical ***ual accusations were made about a former member of his own party though
