Aww FFS twenty six****, this is taking the mick now... the year has taken yet another star from us.
I always was a fan of Wham (it was an 80s thing lol) and I did like some of George's more recent music as well.
This is awful news that hes no longer with us

RIP George Michael, his music is easily recognisable, whether it was with Wham or duets with the likes of Aretha Franklin and Mary J Blige. One of the biggest Christmas songs ever, Last Christmas, and what a time for him to go. His age of 53 is no age to go though.

If He was playing a live gig down the bottom of my garden I'd draw the curtains, but loads of people did love him and being hauled in at 53 seems at Tad unfair, rest easy Georgios Kyriacos .

Carrie Fisher passed away yesterday morning. Could have been a massive star if not for her issues with substance abuse, but she was still loved by many. One of the first women I fell in love with because of her portrayal as Princess Leia.

Will be interesting if they kill off her character in Episode VIII now or if they'll use a digital version like they did in Rogue One. She was signed on for Episode IX.

    Makes you think ............

The year 2016 has been called that of the big celebrity death. But alongside notable names such as Bowie, Muhammad Ali and Victoria Wood, were others - many of whom had not lived in quite such an intense public glare.

With the first months of the year seeing a flurry of death announcements, it has been suggested that 2016 has seen a higher than normal number of "famous deaths".

Now, at the year's end, take a closer look at the lives of 34 people - some better known than others - who died in the past 12 months. And then scroll on to see who else we said goodbye to in 2016.

Hey lads this was always a popular thread on here wasnt it (and not for the right reasons of course!).

I was always a big fan of Roger Moore as 'Bond' in the 70's, I think he took the Bond character to something different from what fans were used to after Sean Connery.
