    Penalties

Can anyone tell me the last time we got a penalty. I reckoned it was against Dundee on the opening game last season which must be some kind of record., although I may be wrong. And does anyone know if we have a penalty taker in the side.

I think Ryan McGuffie in the game you mentioned was the last . Nearly 15 months ago !

No, the last penalty was exactly one week later
at Livingston, taken and scored by McGuffie in a 3-3 draw.

Looking at the line - up that day reveals Danny, Gav, big Durs and Lovejoy were not even in the starting eleven.

There you go then . Two penalties in two weeks and nothing since . Our league winning season of two years ago was very strange in that we got far more penalties against us than awarded. This because its normally the under pressure/ defending teams that concedes more of them.
