Didn't let me down with 2 goals and an assist for Dumfries resident Stuart McColm - Nellie (Peter Weatherston) has now scored 8 in seven games since his comeback after being out for nine months with a serious injury

Toon 1 Scousers 0. A well deserved 3 points for Newcastle today, should have been more.
Had a great day out in the sunshine...back to wet and windy weather in Dumfries as soon as we got off the train.

Of that game in 2005 the then Queens manager Iain Scott wrote '' we were able to help out Annan in a friendly and it gave us an opportunity to unleash a young striker of whom we have high hopes. He did not disappointed us scoring two goals and for a player of 16 years of age he caused the Annan defence lots of problems. '' However young McColm did not go on to make any first team appearances for Queens ending up at Stranraer and then Clyde before signing up at Galabank.

Thanks for the replies.I always thought McColm had played at first team level. The McGrady doesn't ring any bells.Too many players have come and gone at Palmerston to remember them all i guess.Big changes at Annan from the pictures. It is a great wee set up they have there now although i never saw McColms strike go in as there is a blind spot on the covered terracing. When walking out last night behind the dressing rooms you got the roar as the Annan boys entered there's.It sounded like the place to be.It would be great to draw Annan away in the cup but i am sure a lot of Queens fans would miss out on tickets.
Annan gave a real good account of themselves with a fine free kick from Peter and a flick on for the third. His second was a nightmare for Jamieson and him and Talbot had a set to in the aftermath.Annan battled away and deserved the win with Watson at the back and Sloan in midfield showing up well. They would give us a game.Livi looked bereft of any real quality.Strange for all t

Should we draw Annan away in the cup It would make financial sense to move the tie to Palmerston surely?

Don`t think that`s allowed in the rules.
