Recently there chairman bowed to public pressure and dropped the £3 they were charging for buying tickets on matchday (£26 is a bit steep).
It got me wondering whether this was applying to away fans also so I checked up and it appeared not since Rochdale's website advised fans it would cost £3 more.

This is one of my bugbears so I contacted the Football League.

They will have received the email at open of business and by 1.00pm he emailed me to say the Vale had scrapped the surcharge and had advised Rochdale to amend their website.

So good news for us, we don't get charged £26 for buying on the day and on top of that proof that the Football League can be very efficient when dealing with fans.

Not many organisations would have been so quick.
