Scottish clubs must never join the English League. It would kill Scotland as a nation.
Some people argue that Scottish clubs should just join the English league. I disagree. If Scottish clubs joined the English league, then all Scottish clubs would be sent to the bottom of the English pyramid system. It would take at least 15 years of mind numbing tedious hell for Celtic and Rangers to reach the English Premiership, during which they could not play in Europe or challenge for national cups. By the time they reached the EPL, even average English clubs would have 60,000 all-seater stadiums. Man Utd would probably have a 100,000 all seater by then, and Scottish clubs would have spent 15 years to reach a league they could never win. The likes of Man Utd, and Chelsea would be on a different planet to Celtic and Rangers. My club Aberdeen would take at least a decade to reach even the English League One where we would be stuck most of the time, while clubs like Inverness, Ross County and Fal
