    George Saville's Bright Future

I think it's too early to judge the player. He's not had a run in the side and has plenty of time on his side. I also think when he has beend in the side, Jackett has played him either alongside McDonald or in the No.10 role. In time Jackett will find a settle position for him, depending on the form of others.

Sometimes in games there are fine margins, as with his chance against Derby, 1-0 down, his chance goes in and we have a different game, it didn't a we got hammered - view external link

The man's to slow, to safe, (crab like lol), easy player to read!

Good kick up the rear required!

He's back at Wolves Greavsey, suffered an injury whilst on loan with Leyton Orient. I'm hoping Price does get a chance.

Price deserves a go at this higher level but personally don't think he'll have much joy either!

Just another for tinker man to throw on the bench whilst first picks continue to have mares!

I wasn't very impressed with him against Derby. Mind you, I wasn't impressed with most of them. It's a bit early to condemn him after a game like that though. He needs more time on the pitch, but we have better and more deserving players ahead of him, so should he get it?

I have heard that Price is recognized as one of the most skilful players at the club and certainly has a good future.

As for Saville, in racehorse parlance, he is still a bit 'coltish'. Meaning he has not yet grown into his frame and that might take time.

He is tall and athletic but needs to built up his core strength. Give the lad time and he should prove his worth. He must have impressed someone for Chelsea to sign him and if it wasn't for their policy of 'instant success' he would still be there now.

He's gone back to Orient now, but may get a recall if Jackett decides to.
