When loan signed, Jackett said he was fit and ready to go, then last week Jackett said he wasn't fit and probably wouldn't get the games to get match fit. Was worth a punt, I suppose. Hopefully the next loan in or signing can impact right away.
Yannick Sagbo is to return to Hull City after being recalled from his loan spell.
It's not worked out for both Wolves and the player, it's best for both parties. - view external link

If he wasn't match fit why have Hull recalled him? Surely he's not much use to them if he's not match fit or is it the fact that we aren't playing him ?
Recalled as far as i can tell, Jelavic out injured and only Hernandez as the other recognised striker.Originally Posted by greystone16
As far as we know, Sagbo was sent to Wolves to get his match fitness upto 100% as he was to be a bench player on the back of new signings and better strikers so was 4 or 5th choice.Originally Posted by greystone16
We've now suffered loads of injuries and have one regular "quality" striker that's not getting any service so unfortunately we need him back whatever his fitness level to fill the gap.
Has moments of magic in him but by and large he's a carthorse IMO.

It was a chance that both clubs took, it hasn't worked out and Kenny Jackett has been honest in his assessment. I think with loan deals we fans expect an instant impact, but we didn't see one.
