    Thought he did a good job last year, after taking over for Coyle. But it's a what have you done for me lately biz. And Wigan have looked pretty poor this season.

    It's a results business and that's what he's been judged with. The next appointment by Wigan and Dave Whelan will be crucial, it needs a similar impact to that of Neil Lennon at Bolton.
