Nobody said he was.
He was touted by many in here.
Myself included as second choice but always caveated that he had not proven himself at higher levels yet and would represent a gambol, albeit a calculated risk worth taking if we were looking for a new manager.
Listen, it's a tough league, but he's not going to get a better opportunity to get out of it being at a relatively large club with the best budget.
Failing to do so will put doubts in other chairmen

With regards to McInness, he's hardly likely to get sacked when despite poor performances, he's still getting results.
Here's hoping for a result midweek, although I would expect Hearts to be far more physical and will make it a tough challenge despite their own woes.
