I haven't really kept up with how the pyramid system is meant to work. Do the Highland league champs not get the chance to play off against Lowland league geezers, if they want entrance into the SFL? I have to say that putting "Lowland" and "Brora" in the same sentences is crazy to me. I suppose small clubs in the Central Belt would not fancy playing even closer to Scandanavia than Peterhead as well.

And the winners of that tie play off against the bottom team in the SPFL (club 42). If club 42 loses this tie they will be relegated to the SHFL if their ground is north of latitude 56,451N

Somebody should set the sponsor straight and tell him Brora might well have to travel to Annan but not the town of the Doonhamers

Gies a break Hammer the guy is only using Dumfries and Annan as examples of clubs 100s of miles from Brora. He will be perfectly aware Queen of the South are not in SPFL2 - after all he was at Palmy yesterday

Sorry Palmyman but just being factual. They would need to go to Annan and not Dumfries unless we somehow manage to get relegated twice. One thing for sure is it would take a huge commitment from a team as far North of Scotland as you can imagine ( Sutherland ) to join the Scottish senior league . The travelling to away games would be horrendous milewise and road conditions wouldn't be good in winter either . I have been reading a bit about Brora recently and there is a split in the camp about joining the Scottish League . Some are not interested at all.
