    I'm sure, it just an oversight by the bbc but they forgot to include Craig Beevers on the list. He has just been crowned world champion at Scrabble. A sport where great dexterity of the fingers and eye coordination is necessary.

    Other British world champions who have been overlooked are John Doyle - World Coker Champion and Dougie Issacs or Helen Mannion who are male and female World Stone Skimming Champions.

    Does the Coopers Hill Glos Cheese rolling championships, held on Whit Bank Holiday Monday annually, qualify ? Despite the Elf and Safety brigade, cheese rollers attend each year from across the World and long may they continue.

    Yes, Jo Pavey is on the list.
    Great athlete who has given her all for the country for many years. Mostly been overshadowed by other more newsworthy ladies.
