Sean Dyche has confirmed Stephen Ward will be out of action for at least six weeks with an ankle injury.

The Republic of Ireland international was stretchered off the pitch during the last home fixture against Newcastle United and it has been revealed this week that he will be unavailable until after the New Year.

    Yes up to press Alto.

I see that you're a bit confident this week with the 2-2.

It's going to be a real tough un though.

He's done some decent stuff but has missed some sitters.

I'm starting to believe that he's putting his boots on the wrong feet.

    Looking forward to Saturday.

I have an unusual pre-match activity for this game..spending around two and a half hours with my all time hero (again) at his book signing at Waterstones in town from about 11.30 am...

Is he the fella who had 2 spells at Walsall ? I seem to remember he went to Birmingham or Villa for a short time before coming straight back, if its him he was a very tidy player.

I don't know whether its good or bad news, Mark Clattenburg is our Referee for tomorrow, I suppose we could have got someone worse but he's another odd Ref to say the least
