i think it was shown how good he was last season when we were fighting relegation and he got injured and suspended. just look at the results with him and without to form your own opinion.
getting rid of N'Gala was a mistake.
Rubbish...Dennis was a legend (no space between the "g" and the "e" before you start !!)[/quote]Originally Posted by bluekite

And that miss against Charlton...

Found this on the web which may be of interest.
This is also relevant.
As Dennis has had no responses to these questions I think it our duty to support him and have some input.

I cant agree that Beattie was our worst player, but he was most def. the biggest and worst *****hawk to play for Pompey, I remember watching him throw the match against Peterborough all those years ago, (That was when we were last in the Leagues bottom tier) and we were as good as promoted when it happened. With several other (non Pompey players) he was actually charged by the Police with it & proved guilty. I nominate Pollock, and Hayward as as two of the worst.Originally Posted by Scoular1

OK maybe there should have been a space after all
You do seem to be obsessing a bit about a long time retired leg end.
Obsessive about the leg end? I have been in therapy ever since the 60s thanks to Dennis. Like Inspector Dreyfus.
