    Hi cdn, no not coming over this Christmas unfortunately the father-in-law took ill some weeks ago [had a stroke] so cannot leave him on his own.

    Maybe next year if all is well, might even come over in the summer as a bit bloody cold in the winter.

    Sorry to hear about your father in law not good this time of year or any time. TBH this is not the best time of year to come here, much better in the summer. We are heading to Florida on Jan 14 to get away from this **** for 2 months. Just got back from our sons in Oshawa, just east of Toronto, and they have no snow and will not by Xmas as going up to 10c on Weds with rain and heavy winds. Sounds like Blackpool. Still snow on the ground here.
