I'd rather Jim Thomson went back to showing folk to their seats in the stand where most of his passes used to end up.

I struggle to believe he has been a bad influence when speaking to some of the players they all say there are no bad eggs in the camp and I thought Kerr was there on a player coach basis. If there has been a bust up then so be it but that happens in every changing room at every club. It's how everyone deals with it afterwards that counts, not the initial row as feelings would be running high at the time.

I wouldn't mind betting that he will be playing again this week
You know where you heard it first Fatfan. Apart from anything else , Kerr was a good - no, very good - player for Queen Of The South and we now have to ensure someone else can do as fine a job as him.

I posted recently on the subject of the "importance of discipline" ...

I was of course referring to on pitch discipline never thinking that we would lose one of our best players in this fashion. A very disappointing development and lets hope that the rest of squad can rally round and put this unfortunate episode behind them.

When the Directors were deliberating over the "next Manager" a few weeks ago the squad were on record as saying that they were very much behind James Fowler...now is the time to prove that on the park!!!!

Disappointing to lose an excellent player but if the rumours are true then there was only ever one outcome.
I`d love to see us get a suitable replacement in but if not I wonder if Fowler might give Kev USA a run in centre mid.

I have to agree here . Jim needs to get back to selling halftime raffle tickets & all his hospitality duties . His other half isn't up to it . We need him back where he belongs & a permanent assistant manager

I have heard Kerr is on his way to Falkirk along with a certain Dumfries boy but time will tell.

That doesnt surprise me in slightest - a bad loss to our main rival if true.

Is it a coincidence that this has happened immediately before the transfer window opens?
