Thread: Will Burnley stay up ?

re: Will Burnley stay up ?

Yes,I think Burnley can stay up,mainly because the fixture list should work in their favour. By this I mean they have NO top teams to play in May so the final matches are in thier own hands and wont look too daunting...no one wants Chelsea,Man.City,Man.Utd,Southampton,Arsenal,Liver pool or Tottenham in the final month...they dont have any of these to play.So if not adrift by then, every chance of staying up. In which case,Sean Dyche should be manager of the year with the zero-pence budget hes had to work with.

Name me quite a lot of neutral fans who were won over by Blackpool, and where are they now? More chance of seeing you at ewood than extra Blackpool fans. Besides we are talking about what the club is doing not some plastic 'fans'

The signs are good for us now with scoring 5 goals in the last two away games.

The last time we were in the Prem people were raving about Steven Fletcher getting 9 league goals. This time we have Ings on 5 already with Barnes and Boyd on 4.

If them three carry on and get 10 a piece with Vokes chipping 5 or 6 in we should be fine.

I didn't think we had enough goals in us early on but football can change quickly. UTC

Awful start to the season, but form table (last 11 games) has Burnley in 12th position, and only 2 points behind Liverpoo in 5th.

A team full of fight that is genuinely improving by the week. I expect them to stay up by around 6 to 8 points.
