PPPP - Polite Palmy Programme Person

The Programme Monthly magazine's review reads:-
October opened with a trip to Palmerston and a first league meeting with Hearts since 1982. The Terregles Street terracing had been re - opened and in truth probably served to remind why stands or modern, purpose - built terracing have long since taken over but it did make for an old - school away day. Equally old school was the fact that the match programmes were on sale at the back of the terracing from a cardboard box. Priced at £2.50 the seller was obviously glad to see my exact money as I was rewarded with a '' GOD BLESS YOU SIR '' The programme stretches to 36 pages with modern printing techniques and glossy paper. Full colour throughout but with very limited reading and no standout articles though the two pages on Hearts are well written (well done Andy Penn) The second half falls away badly with no genuine reading in it however.

Andy Penn does a fantastic job but needs help IMO. The likes of Ian Black or Gordon Harper would be a great help . Both have an unbelievable knowledge of everything Queen of the South
