    Another Potential Humiliation...

Well its good to see the Football league as finally got out its wet tram ticket presumably as it considers the possibility of applying it liberally to someone's wrist; however it is pretty concerning when mooted penalties include possible transfer embargoes and points deductions - matters that affect the football department but which would appear to have nothing whatsoever to do with the alleged mischief. [And which presumably Mr Yeung does not give a 5hit about...] And all this at a time that the football has at last picked up...

We have both wanted and feared that the Football League would finally get involved in the ownership issue. The penalties that they could impose could seriously damage the club but Yeung doesn't seem to care. Surely the Hong Kong financial authorities have to act to prevent him having any further involvement in BIHL?

When (if ever) will the Football League admit that their due diligence policy was just so inept that it sends clubs like Blues into their problems.

If there were any penalties to be awarded (?) then the FA should just do one (but they won't of course).

"tis fondly to be hoped", as Shakespeare is reported to have said when told of the plight of his beloved Blues

A penalty awarded by the FA usually turns out to be an own goal.
