    that the sheep will stop going on about the ****ing Brian Clough trophy now, like it's the world cup?

    It is.

    I'd even forgotten about it until I just read this thread.

    I have always maintained that we should play a one off cup match for it pre season every year, alternating home and away. Today was about points and local pride, Cup matches are about progressing and local pride. I don't think that many people are really that bothered about it. It's quite low priority.

    And because of that, it's devalued which is a shame.
