    Performance

Proud of my team yesterday. I can't remember the last time we produced football of such quality. Yes , we didn't create many clear goalscoring opportunities but that was mainly due to some excellent defending by Bristol City and the fact the ball just wouldn't drop for us despite some fantastic build-up play.

You don't always get what you deserve in this game. If we can play anything like to that for the rest of the season I'll be delighted.

And great to hear the crowd get right behind them to the end. Standing ovation was well deserved. Can't remember ever enjoying a 2-0 defeat so much.

So despite producing "...football of such quality.." you had hardly a shot on goal. This was Bristol`s fault for defending so well was it? And as for that naughty ball not dropping for you... oh dear, tut, tut. I bet it was the ball-boys` fault the goalies broke their arms too.

You`re right, you don`t always get what you deserve.

At least we agree on how well Bristol City had to defend.
