The Whitsundays and that whole coastal area is a fantastic part of the world, and I must admit to pangs of jealousy seeing those snaps.

Beautiful coastline all around Oz.
Exceptional up around the Whitsundays.
Bingo Bowen/Horseshoe bay is approx 1 hr travel north of Airlie Beach which is deemed the gateway to the Whitsundays.
Western Australia is where you find more remote picturesque beaches.

Whilst a long time ago now, I've still got some great memories of Airlie Beach (far away in time), and sailing around the Whitsundays for a few days with a load of backpackers that I'd met up and down the coast. Marvellous, bloody marvellous days.
