Think I am right in saying that 9 of them are Ertl, Big Pat, Shorey, Holmes, Barcham, Taylor, East, Waddock and Chorley, Not sure about Devera but Close, young Awfs and Tarbuck too ??
Not sure why he is relaxed as we should not have players contracts expiring at the end of the season if we want to keep them especially the youngsters. I think these should have been tied up a while ago.
Anyone know who the others are out of contract?
It would be interesting to see who we can get rid of and if any we want to stay are on the list! - view external link

And if you don't want to keep them but hey are under contract then what?
Plus/Minus both ways

That's a different question and a problem we have seen here a number of times in recent years. We have seen a number of different outcomes as well!
But still do not understand why we are not offering new contracts to other players if we do want them else it will be a complete rebuild yet again in the summer... but on recent performances not a bad thing!
Some in that list should be offered contracts now however.
These are the others:
That leaves Nicky Shorey, Wes Fogden, Ryan Taylor, Ben Chorley, Patrick Agyemang, Tom Craddock, Joe Devera, Danny East, Ricky Holmes, Ben Close, Bradley Tarbuck, Nick Awford, Jack Maloney and loanee Paul McCallum with uncertain Pompey futures.
I think some negotiations should start now!
Plus the others:
Those whose deals end in the summer of 2016 are Danny Hollands, Andy Barcham, Johnny Ertl, Jack Whatmough, Michael Poke, James Dunne, Craig Westcarr, Nigel Atangana, Conor Chaplin and Paul Robinson.
Although several have 12-month options.
In addition, Matt Tubbs, Jed Wallace and Paul Jones are contracted until the summer of 2017.
Relax!!!
Andy is.
So should we.
Should think Andy is anything but relaxed. His latest loan signing gets himself sent off in the last minute. Violent conduct according to Sky, that means a 3 match ban, might as well send him back and save ourselves some money.
Another dismal result, but I expect there will be some positive spin on it The foul count was a bit one sided 17 by Southend only 5 by us. Sounds like they came to muscle us out of the game.
