    re: Lewis McGugan

As I said, Nuhiu is the ace up Carlos' sleeve and the role he played this season helped us to 'unconvincingly' get in the play-offs - no doubt about it.

Heard a reported recently asked Ibrahimovic what it's like to be one of the best forwards in the world, and he said 'I don't know, you best ask Atdhe Nuhiu'....

Anyway, we'll have to see what happens with McGugan in the transfer window to see if you were right or not.

well done on sticking with this thread by the way - a great distracting tactic to take the attention away from your disastrous pre-season SWFC predictions of us getting no where near the play-offs and Carlos being sacked by Christmas....

Nuhui the Ace – alright rov, we’ll all have a pint of what you’re drinking.

By sending McGugan to Coventry, Carvahal has already proven me right - he's shut the door on him. Expect McGugan to be shipped out and replaced by some flaky #10 from Portugal to warm the bench next to Matias.

I've watched/criticised the performance of Nuhiu all thru this season.
At one stage I thought his days were numbered (re Joao) and in JTW thought he was toast....but changed my mind vis his increasing impact.
Having watched him (rather than you) Roth is absolutely spot on...as usual.

Stop talking about McGugan - we don't - you sound out of touch.

You've made progress of late....be a shame if you went backwards

    Coventry?

Like Bluestripe, I wasn't a big fan of Nuhiu at the start of the season and I was expecting him to fade away. But he changed his game and you can't fault the part he's played this season - unless of course yours Katch, and you disagree for the sake of disagreeing.

But what do me and Bluestripe know, having watched him all season? Obviously a rival supporter can form a better opinion on the big man than us.

That's the thing with a talented squad, the bench often consists of quality players who can change the game in a flash. I can't help that you aren't familiar with this concept so have to cast your green envious eyes our way...

‘Send him/her/them to Coventry’ – it’s a saying rov, look it up or ask one of your pals on social media. Fun loving Cheeky Chappie Nigel Clough managed the extraordinary feat of not only sending Neil ‘Collo’ Collins to Coventry metaphorically but also literally. Enjoy his loveable shenanigans in the Championship next season, the guy’s a riot.

As for Nuhui I think you’re both goofing me. He’s awful – as I’ve said before sticking a phone box on the edge of the D would be just as effective. Being of a similar build to Mr Nuhui I know it’s prohibitive to being any good – he’d have made a cracking Rugby Union lock though, just like me.
