    Corners

The quicker Chris Mitchell comes back so to take corners the better because McShane is just dire at them.
Be lucky if he clears the first man 1 in 5 attempts and this has been all season!!

Surely someone else can take them?

Totally agree can't take corners can't take free kicks. Hopefully the injured players can come in and freshen up this team or get some new players in as soon as possible!

    re: Corners

Yes we counted it as 1 out of 5 clearing the first defender. The question is how come the best passer - that we have left -can't play a decent cross? I really am wondering what Queens are doing in training to develop the skills of our players.

This is not the first time that we have noticed this failing in an otherwise decent player.

    re: Corners

Sadly, there's a lot more to be concerned about than the lack of a decent taker of corners.
Outpaced and outfought all over the park today although I thought Queens had the better of the first 15 minutes.
2 shots on target in a home game!!

I fear that the QOS of old may be back,in that they are great up until Xmas, and then they fade away badly(Which appears to be coming true!)or,alternatively bad until Xmas then pick up(the optimists reckoning!)

It's clear as is mentioned elsewhere, that
    A striker is needed NOW!!.
Nothing on the bench today suggested that a goal would be coming from anyone sitting there.Having said that, Paul Burns did more in his cameo appearance than a lot did over the 90 minutes.

Couldn't understand why Paton wasn't taking free kicks after he came on.

    re: Corners

Does McShane spend any time at all practising dead ball situations? He has clearly become the nominated player for corner kicks and free kicks but he persistently fails to get the ball past the first line of defence or he over hits the ball out of play. Not very impressive.

On the occasions that he has taken them kidd looks likes he can deliver well from corners and free kicks
