    The pitch

    What's happened to it?

Couldn't believe the state it was in after 60 minutes last night.

Saw the team training on it the other week which amazed me. Surely something has to be done about it? You can't ask supporters to pay £29 to watch 'football' on such a poor surface.

    re: The pitch

The pitch is awful - especially down the North Stand side near The Kop.

It reminded me of the pitches on view while watching the re runs of 4th Round cup matches on BBC at the weekend. Nice to see Gary Shelton (playing for Bristol City again) by the way on them.

    SKT xxxx

PS: Braggy it wasn't both hamstrings that snapped- it was both hamstrings and right knee cap and sprained ankles - and I was sober. I'm wobbling so bad Steve Evans may want me on loan. Still managed to get to the game last night - though that Mr Kettles performance was more painful than my injuries.

When the subs were having a kick around at half time Buxton noticed something near the centre circle on the Kop side - he threw the ball up above it and it just plugged in the ground.

It has turned into a sorry state very quickly, not sure it's ideal to have any of the academy sides play on it during the winter months.
