It's ok to sing medieval battle anthems at Sunday's game

After all, our former First Minister takes his inspiration from medieval battles into the democratic process

So the yahoos can now say Lee McCulloch reminds them of King Billy

The fundamental difference being Salmond takes his inspiration from an ancient battle in his homeland of Scotland and not from ***dreds of years ago in Ireland.

That famed 'medieval' figure King Billy who lived from 1650 to 1702?

Wlalter's teachings are wasted on here.I'm thinking of starting an online petition to get him a job more worthy of his many skills. He should be official spokesman of Der Bun.He would be Castle Thickskull's very own Comical Ali.

so according to you the Battle of the Somme and Operation Overlord are examples of battles that should be ignored as they didn't happen up here even though they involved and affected the people of Scotland

What relevance would these battles have to the everyday operation of the Scottish parliament or to the outcome of a Scottish football match that we would need to sing songs about any of them ? Relevant to the past, not the future.
